Sir John’s latest words
BP Chief Executive John Browne had several things to say on Thursday at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C., according to a Reuters news report. The natural gas pipeline in Alaska was among the topics, and Browne’s comments indicated there is no final agreement yet with the state of Alaska about the terms for construction of the project.
“We are attempting to reach agreement with the state of Alaska in order to get production under way as soon as possible,” he said.
