The House will convene at 6 p.m. tonight for a technical session. It will not take up the oil tax bill, however, giving the Finance Committee more time to work through amendments. The bill is expected to go to second reading on the House floor on Sunday.
The House will take amendments on the floor Sunday, and possibly Monday.
The drafters in Legislative Legal Services are setting the pace for the bill’s progress. There’s a logjam in legal caused by a lack of drafters.
