Life in the Senate minority: It ain’t great tonight

The Senate Minority is pushing a number of amendments on the Senate floor. Their status in the minority is making it difficult to win approval of their measures, though. So far, the minority has had four amendments, and all four have gone down in flames.
The latest proposal would have removed the 2011 review date on the oil tax. Again, it failed.
