A glitch in the works
From R.A. Dillon in Juneau:
The House just failed to pass the title change of the Senate’s version of the bill. That means the House and Senate versions can’t be reconciled. It’s a procedural hurdle, but one that is seriously gumming up the works as we near the deadline for the end of the special session.
News-Miner reporters Stefan Milkowski and Eric Lidji bring you up-to-date info about the governor's oil tax and
the gas line plans as well as tossing in some tidbits that have nowhere else to go.

I am just wondering how this bill is going to be a good thing for us who live in the lower 48. Everyone knows that corporations don’t pay taxes…..consumers do. When will goverment decide that America needs more oil, not more taxes?
