Camp Habitat

Description

Pre-School programs: Ages 4 - 5; Children explore Creamer's Field Migratory Waterfowl Refuge through developmentally appropriate hands-on activities and games. Participants experience the wonders of the natural world through sensory exploration, discovery hikes, ecology-themed games, songs, and creative craft projects.
Day Camp programs: Ages 6-11; Young people learn about the natural history of Interior Alaska through engaging activities, games, hikes, projects and guest speakers. Youth explore the natural world through themes such as plants, animals, birds, fish, habitats, and people and the environment.

Groundlings Summer Camp

Description

The Groundlings Summer Drama Camp gives students age 12-17 professional and exciting training in theatre. Participants learn acting technique, voice and breath for the stage, movement, text analysis, character development and more. All classes are taught by by trained theatre professionals. The culmination of the camp will be a full production of Shakespeare's classic comedy, Twelfth Night. Space is limited to 20 students.
