CAFE Kids' Cooking Camp
Description
Learn basic kitchen skills including food and health and safety skills, preparation of various food items, and clean up. Students will prepare and serve lunch for guests at the completion of the course.
CAFE Youth Culinary Arts Academy
Description
Young chefs will learn food handling health and safety skills, various cooking techniques, hands-on preparation, and presentation. Curriculum includes experience with soups, salads, meats, and desserts. Students will prepare and serve lunch for guests at the completion of the course. Prerequisite: ages 12-17
Camp Habitat
Description
Pre-School programs: Ages 4 - 5; Children explore Creamer's Field Migratory Waterfowl Refuge through developmentally appropriate hands-on activities and games. Participants experience the wonders of the natural world through sensory exploration, discovery hikes, ecology-themed games, songs, and creative craft projects.
Day Camp programs: Ages 6-11; Young people learn about the natural history of Interior Alaska through engaging activities, games, hikes, projects and guest speakers. Youth explore the natural world through themes such as plants, animals, birds, fish, habitats, and people and the environment.

Cloverbud Day Camp
Description
Campers will enjoy adventure in the out-of-doors with the security of evenings at home. Focus will be on age-appropriate nature observations, crafts, games, and something to do with animals. Fun will be the key ingredient.
Groundlings Summer Camp
Description
The Groundlings Summer Drama Camp gives students age 12-17 professional and exciting training in theatre. Participants learn acting technique, voice and breath for the stage, movement, text analysis, character development and more. All classes are taught by by trained theatre professionals. The culmination of the camp will be a full production of Shakespeare's classic comedy, Twelfth Night. Space is limited to 20 students.
Jovenes Aventureros: Spanish for Young Adventurers
Description
Active learning experience for children ages 7-10. Developing Spanish language skills in a friendly and patient environment. Includes music, games, cooking and outdoor activities. No prior experience necessary.
Verano de Divertido/Summer of Fun
Description
In this daycare camp, students of all ages will learn basic Spanish sounds, words and phrases along with enjoying a number of cultural experiences from Spanish speaking countries around the world with the guidance of a certified teacher.
Where in the World is Akela? Cub Scout Day Camp
Description
There is something here for everyone! We will be learning and doing sports, leatherwork, basketry, geology, archery, sling shots, playing games, hiking, making kites and more. The Cub Scout Motto is "Do your best." It is fun with a purpose. Through the activities scouts will be learning sportsmanship, citizenship, and teamwork.
