Creative Dance Camp

Description

North Star Ballet Creative Dance Camp provides a comprehensive introduction to a fairy tale ballet, Carnival of the Animals, a zoological fantasy composed by Camille Saint-Saens.
In one week, children will help illustrate their very own books as they recreate the story through movement and dance. Through various activities and art projects the children will learn about the music, the setting and costuming that all add to the beauty of ballet. The week culminates with a dance demonstration where the children experience the thrill of performance as a choreographer, costume designer and dancer.
