Anne Wien Camp Fire USA Summer Adventures
Description
This is a licensed school-age adventure program. Whether the children are out hiking or biking a local trail, building a dog house for the local animal shelter, swimming, creating works of art or simply playing on the playground, kids enrolled in the Summer Adventure Program will have opportunities to master new skills, build friendships and have a fantastic summer. At a ratio of 1:10 staff to campers, Camp Fire staff facilitate activities that encourage a sense of community and provide a great deal of fun for participating youth. Activities Include: Outdoor education, gym games, creative art projects, science exploration, drama, playground fun, cooperative games, cooking, day hikes, field trips, theme weeks, bicycle excursions, guest speakers, and much more.
Celebrate the Great Outdoors
Description
This program offers summer recreation and outdoor activities including field trips to the library, local parks, playgrounds, theater, pools, outdoor exploration, nature hikes, bike day, picnics, etc. Also included are activities that encourage creativity and independence such as arts and crafts, cooking, dramatic play, reading, science, sports, games and more. Participation in the the Summer Food Program provides free lunch and afternoon snacks. Morning snack provided by PNL.
Eielson School Age Program
Description
This is a full day summer program filled with field trips, arts and crafts, daily programming and activities, themed adventure weeks, specialty weeks, 4-H and Boys and Girls Club events, sport camps, and so much more.
