Focus will be on Individual skills so players challenge themselves regardless of skill level to develop and maintain solid habits. Training will focus on hitting: emphasis on the ALCAN Method of Contact employed during camp; pitching, throwing, and catching: introduce and strengthen great habits; defensive fundamentals to inspire individuals to challenge themselves, and safety & respect.

All-Star Track & Field Camp

Description

This exciting camp will introduce kids, between the ages of 7 and 13, to physical fitness through basic track and field events, encouraging them to be the best they possibly can be. Bull's Eye Youth Archery Camp

Description

Nationally certified instructors teach campers on individual archery levels on form, shot placement, and scoring, and intermediate and advanced students strive for shooting score patches.
Students will make arrows, learn equipment and string maintnenace, and be exposed to hunter safety instruction and respect for the environment and wildlife resources. Each Friday is extended for a picnic, mini-tournament and awards ceremony. Low cost bow packages or rentals available.

Denali Kayak Camp

Description

Parents will drop their kids off on Sunday evening and return the following Saturday evening to pick them up. The camp includes meals from breakfast Monday morning to a pizza party lunch on Saturday. Last year meals consisted of cereal, pancakes, or bacon and egg breakfasts, and dinners ranging from fresh caught King Salmon, to spaghetti and even Pad Thai noodles. Guides, Kaite Hilleke and Allan Warren, camp with the kids and chaperone them during the evening hours at Otto Lake. We provide all kayak gear, but the campers will need to bring there own camping gear.

Triple Threat Basketball Camp

Description

Ultimate Frisbee Youth Camp

Description

Ultimate is a fast-paced team sport which is played by children and adults around the world. Though played with a flying disc, Ultimate combines elements of soccer, football, and basketball. This three day evening program will introduce youth to the growing sport of Ultimate Frisbee. Topics covered for junior discers will include basic throws, rules and Spirit of the Game. In addition to basic ultimate skills, senior discers will be introduced to more technical throws, and higher level offensive and defensive strategies.
