ALCAN Baseball Camp
Description
Focus will be on Individual skills so players challenge themselves regardless of skill level to develop and maintain solid habits. Training will focus on hitting: emphasis on the ALCAN Method of Contact employed during camp; pitching, throwing, and catching: introduce and strengthen great habits; defensive fundamentals to inspire individuals to challenge themselves, and safety & respect.
Camps are age-appropriate: Camp 1: 5-6; Camp 2: 7-8; Camp 3: 9-10; Camp 4: 11-12; Camp 5: 13-14
ALCAN Football Camp
Description
The camp will focus on individual skills so players challenge themselves regardless of skill level to develop and maintain solid habits as well as athletic skills with emphasis on speed, agility, and quickness; offensive and defensive skills including stance, ball handling, passing, catching, blocking, reading plays, taking blocks, and rotation, and safety and respect to prepare players for all kinds of game and life situations.
Camps are age appropriate: Camp 1: 5-6; Camp 2: 7-8; Camp 3: 9-10; Camp 4: 11-12; Camp 5: 13-14
ALCAN Hockey
Description
Full day program focuses on individual hockey skills; two on-ice sessions, off-ice fitness training, and hockey academy and education. Camps are age-appropriate: Camp 1: 5-6; Camp 2: 7-8; Camp 3: 9-10; Camp 4: 11-12.

All-Star Track & Field Camp
Description
This exciting camp will introduce kids, between the ages of 7 and 13, to physical fitness through basic track and field events, encouraging them to be the best they possibly can be. With the emphasis being on fun and fundamentals, the program introduces basic athletic skills of running, jumping and throwing, and will help prepare young athletes for the Alyeska Track and Field Games, and beyond.
Bull's Eye Youth Archery Camp
Description
Nationally certified instructors teach campers on individual archery levels on form, shot placement, and scoring, and intermediate and advanced students strive for shooting score patches.
Students will make arrows, learn equipment and string maintnenace, and be exposed to hunter safety instruction and respect for the environment and wildlife resources. Each Friday is extended for a picnic, mini-tournament and awards ceremony. Low cost bow packages or rentals available.
Coed Fundamentals Camp
Description
This coed youth camp is designed to teach the basic fundamentals of basketball with emphasis on skill development through games and station work. Players are divided into groups based on age and skill level.
Denali Kayak Camp
Description
Parents will drop their kids off on Sunday evening and return the following Saturday evening to pick them up. The camp includes meals from breakfast Monday morning to a pizza party lunch on Saturday. Last year meals consisted of cereal, pancakes, or bacon and egg breakfasts, and dinners ranging from fresh caught King Salmon, to spaghetti and even Pad Thai noodles. Guides, Kaite Hilleke and Allan Warren, camp with the kids and chaperone them during the evening hours at Otto Lake. We provide all kayak gear, but the campers will need to bring there own camping gear.
Junior Golf Sessions
Description
Small group instruction to learn the basics of golf. Focus will be on full swing (irons & woods), pitching, chipping, putting, rules and safety, etiquette, and FUN. All equipment is provided.
Position Play Basketball Camp
Description
Campers will be instructed by current college players and coaches. Improving basketball fundamentals which will help them compete at the next level is the goal of this camp.
Taekwon-Do Summer Sports Camp
Description
Taekwon-Do Summer Sports Camp includes fun, friendship, exercise, and self defense training. No experience necessary.
First session, participants will be building and racing Pinewood Derby cars.
Second session, participants will be building Model Rockets and launching them.
Bring a sack lunch. Snacks are included.
Team Basketball Camp
Description
Team Camp is a great opportunity for high school coaches to bring their teams together over the summer and work on game situations. Team camp offers a highly competitive environment with leagues divided up according to level of play.
Triple Threat Basketball Camp
Description
Mike Hajdukovich and Al Sokaitis have teamed up to teach kids fundamentals, teamwork, sportsmanship and how to have fun with the game of basketball. Lunches will be provided by Cookie Jar Restaurant. Boys and Girls will be separated by age and skill level. Morning sessions will be loaded with new skills and drills, and afternoons will be full court action with lots of games and competitions.
UAF Recreational Camp
Description
We offer a wide variety of traditional and unique sport and recreational activities. Campers and staff decide their schedule for the week and participate in hour long activities.
Some of the activities include: archery, bowling, basketball, badminton, broomball, climbing wall, flag football, floor hockey, Lacrosse, new games, parachute games, riflery, racquetball, soccer, swimming, softball, tennis, table tennis, ultimate Frisbee, volleyball, and lots more.
Ultimate Frisbee Youth Camp
Description
Ultimate is a fast-paced team sport which is played by children and adults around the world. Though played with a flying disc, Ultimate combines elements of soccer, football, and basketball. This three day evening program will introduce youth to the growing sport of Ultimate Frisbee. Topics covered for junior discers will include basic throws, rules and Spirit of the Game. In addition to basic ultimate skills, senior discers will be introduced to more technical throws, and higher level offensive and defensive strategies.
