3-on-3 Basketball State Championships

Description

The 3-on-3 Championships will be playing ball in the Midnight Sun. The 1-day tournament on Solstice coincides with Father's Day and the Fairbanks Fun Festival, which attracts thousands of people. There will be lots of divisions to play in from beginners to expert levels, as well as a family division. Fathers and/or mothers, aunties, uncles, grandparents, nieces and nephews can team up to form a family team.

Alyeska Track & Field Games

Description

The Alyeska Track & Field Games is a beginning-level, recreational track and field program. It is designed to introduce boys and girls to the sport of track and field. All participants will receive a T-shirt and a participant ribbon. First, second, and third place contestants will each receive a medal. In addition, first place winners will receive a brand new bike.
Running event winners in the 50, 100, 200, and 400 meters will be determined by the best time in the finals. Those with the best times in the preliminaries will be in the finals. Those running 1500 meters will compete only once. The best overall distance per event will determine field event winners.

Chena Hot Springs Bicycle Classic

Description

The annual Chena Hot Springs Bicycle Classic provides family-oriented fun for bicyclists of all levels. The ride offers 66, 33, 14 and 7 mile ride options. All rides end at Chena Hot Springs Resort. The ride includes a picnic lunch at the resort, free passes to the hot springs and other race goodies. Rides back to start points are provided.

Fairbanks Youth Soccer

Description

In addition to the regular soccer team season Fairbanks Youth Soccer will offer Youth Soccer Camps in June and July from UK Soccer and Challenger Soccer.
Arctic Kickers is a new program for 4 year olds and a positive introduction to soccer. Online registrations will receive first priority.
The Summer Soccer Fest will be held from noon-6 p.m., May 16 for a preview of the coming season.
