When my brother was in A-stan this was normal life for them... and sometimes much worse. Fortunatly my folks know not of some of the things we have discussed...... and not discussed. After so much of this... it is just second nature and nothing to get the feathers ruffeled. I know many a troop has not said of these things to their families for not wishing them to worry.
