Eric Engman/News-Miner Kasilof musher Lance Mackey answers questions while being interviewed by the media after winning his second straight Yukon Quest International Sled Dog Race on Tuesday, Feb. 21, in the checkpoint in Dawson City, Yukon. Mackey finished the rerouted course covering the 950 miles in ten days, seven hours and 47 minutes. Because of poor trail conditions south of Pelly Crossing, Yukon, race officials were forced to change the finish from Whitehorse, Yukon, to Dawson.
